Networking

Cisco Routers and Switches

My introduction to networking was working on Cisco networks. I spent multiple years configuring mid sized networks with 20-100 hosts on 2-10 different pieces of Cisco networking devices from scratch about 5 times per year. In many of these networks, the routers would need to connect to utilize Satellite Communications systems to connect to their WAN. I am very familiar with the Catalyst line of products and their terminal interfaces and have also had experience with Meraki in a limited capacity.

Sophos Firewalls

I am very familiar with the XG line of networking devices with Sophos. I have spent more time maintaining and administrating these routers and firewalls than any other. I often adjust networks, DHCP scopes, VPN configurations, Wireless APs, rules and exceptions, along with DNS on a regular basis within their ecosystem.

Netgear

Without intention, I have been forced to become closely acquainted with this manufacturer's devices due to the sheer quantity of their products on the consumer market. I have the ability to completely manage these routers and networking devices as needed.

Ubiquiti switches and Access Points

I am familiar with Ubiquiti networks. I have had to make many adjustments on the hardware similar to the administration conducted for Sophos devices shown above. This is including running external black box penetration tests to search for weaknesses in firewalls. However, he has much less hands on experience with this vendor.

Ruckus Access Points

My experience with ruckus is limited. I do however have the skills to work with these devices.
